The Mitchell Cemetery -- was missing one very important person this year... Shawn's mom, Betty. Saddly, she died passed away in the spring. Though she wasn't here in person, we knew she was here in spirit! And what a year it turned out to be... We were filmed for an upcoming HGTV Halloween Special to be aired in 2012. It was one of the hardest things we ever did with a full day of filming and interviews! But the crew was top notch and helped every step of the way. Both we and our guests will be talking about the experience for the whole year to come in anticipation of next Halloween. Be sure to watch for any mention of Pensacola, Florida... that will be us!

The Mitchell Cemetery -- This year we took things a bit easier and created a pumpkin patch in the front yard in our new front garden. Inside we created the Fortune Teller's Den complete with the still decked out deceased fortune teller herself!

Take a stroll through The Mitchell Cemetery -- This backyard cemetery welcomed kids and adults alike! How to Haunt Your House, Book One has been selling since March 2009 and the word spread about our little home town haunt. So this year, more photos were taken. More projects were built and the Cemetery grew to it's largest plot yet. We would begin work on Book Two in November! Stay tuned for more...

More tombstones, more props... We built the Haunted Abby, our largest structure and projected ourselves as Renaissance ghosts inside.

Halloween 2005
The Mitchell Cemetery is created. We made most of the props and all of the structures ourselves, sprayed everything with blacklight hairspray and lit it all up with a whole lot of Blacklights. The effect was magical!
